We have carried out construction work for Lancashire County Council for a long number of years which includes general maintenance, school maintenance, classroom refurbishments and general cabinetwork.
Commercial and Industrial
Our recent involvement into this sector has included new warehouse construction, office extensions and factory extension for food preparation industry together with structural alterations and office refurbishment work.
Many domestic customers have used our services for a long number of years because we attend promptly to their wishes, whether it is a small repair job or a major refurbishment scheme. All members of our staff are trained to respect our customers property with care and attention. This type of work can also involve all trades who require detailed co-ordination and close supervision at every stage throughout the project.
We were recently awarded 1st prize in a National competition run by the National Federation of Builders for the Best Heritage Project of the Year which involved the full restoration of a Grade II timber framed building which dated back to the 15th century.
Concept to Completion
Many clients have a general indication of their requirements but require assistance in finalizing the technical detail and specifications. We are often involved in the very early stages of a project, to offer our expertise and provide clients with material samples and finishes. This ultimately leads to a satisfactory completion with the client being involved closely through the project.
We are a Constructionline registered company, we are also registered with the Construction Health & Safety scheme and have recently been awarded registration of the ISO9001 (2015)
Management Scheme. We are also members of the National Federation of Builders and the local Chamber of Commerce.
Health & Safety is very important to us and we have a general training programme in place for all our employees. On the first date of employment a new employee is given a full induction to the company which includes receiving a copy of the companies Health & Safety policy, details of the management structure and fire safety information. Joinery employees are assessed for competence for using woodworking machinery in our workshop prior to commencing work and additional training is provided where necessary.
